LG to launch G-series replacement line on 15 May 2020

According to a new report, the G-series will be replaced by a new premium smartphone brand that will likely debut in the middle of the next month. The series will rock Qualcomm Snapdragon 7-series chipset with 5G connectivity. the previously-rumoured LG G9 was the expected to pack Snapdragon 765 G processor but it report has been dropped and for a new smartphone under a new series so that will replaced the G-series. 

According a Korean news report outlet, Naver News, LG held a discussion with at least three telecom operators in the Korean to reveal launch date and get them ready for the series.

The Korean company also told telecom company the G-series is being dropped and a new series will emerge on 15 May.  The new LG serises for the target the premium range, and powerd by the Snapdragon 7-series chipset, which means either Snapdragon 765 and 765G. 

The chipsets come with 5G modem and will enable the facility on the smartphone from LG.
