Huawei announce the new
smartphone Huawei p40 series devices. Three devices were showcased in the live event - p40, p40 pro, and p40 pro plus. These new
smartphones have a significant focus on the photography and have the spec sheets to back up the
marketing.
There are three new versions of the
Huawei p40 phones, so all based on the same chipset, software, and main wide-angle 50MP RYYB ultra version
camera. The
Huawei p40 is a smaller device with slightly thicker bezels and a less advanced screen.
And the main difference of the phone display,
cameras, and charging technology.

Huawei p40 series has a heavy focus on it's
camera system, the
Huawei P30 Pro 5x periscope zoom back in 2019. The p40 pro shares a very similar 5x optical zoom range via the periscope hardware. We'are treated to a 12MP sensor with a similar RYYB Bayer filter to what
Huawei has been using on its main
camera over the past year. For the overall sharper looking images. The 125mm-equivalent lens has an aperture of f/3.4 and optical image stabilization (OIS).

The ultrawide cine lens that came in the Mate 30 Pro seens to be used in the p40pro as well. It’s 40mp sensor with an 18mm-equivalent lens with an f/1.8 aperture. That massive 50MP ultra version RYYB wide
camera. It’s sports a massive 1/1.28inch sensor with a 23mm-equivalent lens and aperture of f/1.9. The 7,680fps slow-motion, the highest resolution you can shoot in ultra HD video at up to 60fps.
The 32MP selfie
camera in depth sensor and auto focus laser. It's rated for ultra HD video recording at up to 60fps.
